These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are entered into between you (the "User") and the sole proprietor Ashot Tatian (Ashot Tatian, IE), registered in the Republic of Armenia ("Retone," "we").
By using the Retone app, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. Payment for a subscription constitutes acceptance of this public offer in accordance with applicable law. If you do not agree with the Terms, please do not use the app.
Retone is an iOS app that rewrites your text in one of 20 writing styles using artificial intelligence. Text generation is performed using the Claude API by Anthropic, Inc. and is subject to their acceptable use policy. The app is available on devices running iOS 16 and later.
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Manage or cancel your subscription under "Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions." You can cancel at any time; charges for a billing period already started are non-refundable.
The refund policy is governed by the Apple App Store rules. EU users have the right to request a refund within 14 days of purchase in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

You retain all rights to the texts you enter into the app. By submitting text for processing, you grant us a limited right to use it solely to fulfill your request. We make no claim of ownership over your input content.
Rights to the text generated by the app pass to you in full at the moment you receive the result. We make no claim to rights in the output content.
The Retone app, its interface, algorithms, logo, and name are the intellectual property of Ashot Tatian, IE. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Retone is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee that generated results will meet your expectations or be fit for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: lost profits, data loss, reputational harm, or any other indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part, or where limitation of liability is prohibited by applicable law.
If you violate these Terms or Anthropic's acceptable use policy, we may restrict or terminate your access to the app without prior notice and without a refund for the unused portion of the subscription.
We reserve the right to modify the app's functionality or discontinue it. We will notify you of pricing changes at least 30 days before they take effect, through the app or by email. Continued use of the subscription after new pricing takes effect constitutes your agreement to it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. The parties will seek to resolve disputes through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes are subject to the courts of the Republic of Armenia, unless otherwise required by mandatory provisions of the law of the user's country of residence.
For material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify users through the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
